Indirect Channel Management (ICM) performs a key role in developing and executing strategy related to all Indirect Channels.
The role will be required to work with the Global ICM organization together with the Korea Leadership Team (KLT) to implement Global ICM standards to Company, with the aim enhance professionalism and effectiveness of the indirect channels who are associated with Company. These includes distributors, dealers, agents and indirect channel partners.
This role will be a member of the Korean Leadership Team (KLT) and will be required to partner with key commercial, finance, compliance and legal to ensure governance over ICs are successfully managed. (TBC)
This position requires traveling (30-50% travel) and responsible for direct interactions with the existing and potential channel partners of Company. The person in this role would be responsible for the activities as broadly categorized below: IC Pre-appointment (Entry evaluation of new dealers) a) Understand and sense-check the commercial need for a new IC appointment b) Review IC business case (if applicable) c) Able to communicate and discuss Stryker IC expectations for new appointment
IC Relationship Management a) Business Reviews Actively and independently participate in business reviews to form assessment on IC performance. Work with functional leaders on identifying and resolving operational challenges that may impede effective and compliant IC performance.
b) Performance Management Support annual performance evaluation process and take ownership of training & certification programs
Compliance a) Coordinate with compliance on new policies and procedures b) Provide compliance input on training requirements for IC's c) Be involved in compliance issues related to IC's d) Ensure annual IC certification is complete
ICs of acquired companies a) Be involved with acquisition integration (if IC's are included) b) Own the coordination and integration of acquired IC's c) Responsible for ensuring all acquired IC's are loaded into IC system and standard DD is followed IC renewals / terminations a) Be involved in the termination discussion and exiting of IC's b) Coordinate between IC, Sales & other corporate functions to ensure all terms are completed and IC is appropriately recorded in System
Market Networking a) Attend market events & build networks with key stakeholders to understand the market dynamics and IC landscape b) Build networks within Markets to identify new potential IC's or understand the risks with Company IC's
Others - Role would require the incumbent to work extremely closely with the sales team & with multiple departments to drive execution, identification of bottlenecks and interventions to streamline the overall selling process. - Travel extensively to meet the Channel Partners & drive the right behavior and to develop deep relationships. - Uphold the Compliance Culture and philosophy of the Company by ensuring the business is kept abreast and aligned to the highest code of ethics not limited to KMDIA (Korea Medical Device Industry Association) and ADVAMED.
[자격요건] - Minimum 6 years of overall experience in a commercial organization spread across sales, marketing, business partnering and/or channel management roles.
- Prior experience of channel management would be an added advantage
- Effective written and verbal English communication skills
- Sound IT acumen with advanced knowledge with all MS Office tools including Excel
